Roundtable "Trademark VS Domain Name"

On June 24, a round table "Trademark VS Domain Name" was held online.

Diana Ivanova, Associate Professor, Head of the Intellectual Property Law Department of the Belarusian State University; Vladimir Kiryanenko, representative of the national domain zone administrator; Natallia Sinishova, Head of Trademarks Department of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP); Svetlana Koroleva, Patent Attorney of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the event. The discussion was moderated by Tatsiana Talkanitsa, Head of Pre-trial Settlement Department of NCIP.

The participants discussed the relationship between trademarks and domain names, as well as the issues of registration of designations representing domain names as trademarks.
