BSU Student Scientific Club «Modern Civilistics»

On February 28, 2024 at the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University a meeting of the student scientific club «Modern Civilistics» was held.

From the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) the event was attended by specialists of the Department for Commercialization Support and State Registers Polina Katsubo and Olga Rudkova.

The session was devoted to the problems of legal regulation of the franchise agreement. The participants reviewed the main provisions concerning this type of contracts and analyzed the amendments to the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus that will come into force at the end of 2024. The NCIP specialists also discussed the registration procedure and the main mistakes made by persons when applying for registration of a franchise agreement.
