NCIP continues to accept scientific materials for the III International Scientific and Practical Conference «Intellectual Property in the Contemporary World: Current Challenges and Development Prospects», organized in cooperation with the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.

Practicing lawyers, notaries, economists, specialists in patent services, patent attorneys, as well as all persons interested in protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights are invited to participate in the conference.

The conference program provides for the discussion of the role and place of intellectual property in achieving technological sovereignty, the problems of «IP & GameDev», as well as current trends in the transformation of intellectual property.

Experts will consider the best tools for protecting and managing the results of intellectual activity, discuss the importance of individualization tools as a tool for the economic security of an enterprise, the specifics of attracting financing for intangible assets, pledging intellectual property rights (including the experience of the Russian Federation).

Within the scope of «IP & GameDev» we’ll discuss the legal status of video games, the features of the legal regulation of their creation and use and intellectual property derivatives from them, the legal nature of virtual property.

The issues of IP development at the present stage will not be left aside, including the problem of balancing the interests of society, the state and the individual, digital transformation in the intellectual property field, etc. Particular attention will be paid to modern trends in the development of intellectual property law in foreign countries.
