The President of Belarus invited Tomsk and Belarusian scientists to jointly develop advanced technologies

A good example of intellectual cooperation between Belarusian and Tomsk scientists can be the implementation of the project on the production of transistors for aerospace and special purposes. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at his meeting with Governor of Tomsk region of Russia Vladimir Mazur.

Tomsk region is among the top three leaders in the national scientific and technological rating of Russia, and the city itself is called the student capital. There are 25 cooperation agreements between the educational institutions of Belarus and Tomsk region, and a number of joint research projects are implemented.

«However, I believe that the potential of cooperation in education and science is far from being unlocked. We should competently, rationally use each other's highest competences. A good example of such intellectual cooperation can be the implementation by your scientists together with our Academy of Sciences and companies of a project to produce transistors for aerospace and special purposes, which is very important,» the head of state emphasized.
