This day in the history of IP in Belarus: 25 years ago the Law «On Legal Protection of Topologies of Integrated Circuits» adopted

25 years ago on December 7, 1998 the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 214-Z «On Legal Protection of Topologies of Integrated Circuits» was adopted.

This legislative act became a basic element of the intellectual property system in the Republic of Belarus in the field of electronics and semiconductors, making it possible to strengthen the legal protection of technologies related to the production of topologies of integrated circuits.

Today 290 topologies are registered in the State Register of the Republic of Belarus. The most active applicant is the Open Joint Stock Company INTEGRAL, the managing company of INTEGRAL Holding.
