Prospective areas of cooperation between Belarus and Rosatom discussed in Moscow

Representatives of the State Committee on Science and Technology (SCST), the Ministry of Economy and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus visited the organizations of ROSATOM in Moscow in frames of the working visit. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and considered the possibility of implementing joint programs and projects.

As Chairman of the SCST Sergei Shlychkov noted during the visit, the task of the Belarusian side was to begin cooperation with ROSATOM on non-energy projects. "We are confident that the points of contact will be found and we can return to the discussion of specific proposals. During the visit we got acquainted with those Rosatom enterprises that could become counterparts of the Republic of Belarus for the organization of joint activities. All necessary organizational and legal tools have already been created for this purpose in the union states," said Sergei Shlychkov.
