Resolution of the SCST «On Establishing the Forms of Patents (Certificates) for Objects of Industrial Property Rights» published

The National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus published Resolution of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus (SCST) of September 5, 2023 No. 6 «On Establishing the Forms of Patents (Certificates) for Objects of Industrial Property Rights».

The Resolution establishes the forms of a patent for an invention, utility model, industrial design, plant variety, as well as certificates for layout designs of integrated circuit, trademark and service mark, on the right to use a geographical indication.

With the entry into force of the Resolution No. 6 dated September 5, 2023, the SCST Resolutions «On Certificate for Trademark» No. 2 dated January 12, 2010 and «On Certificate on the Right to Use Geographical Indication» No. 7 dated July 20, 2020 shall cease to be in force.

The Resolution shall enter into force on November 13, 2023.
