NCIP Council of Young Scientists presented the results of its activities in Rospatent

Representatives of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) took part in the XXVII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Rospatent «Intellectual Property for State and Society».

Within the framework of the visit to the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), the CYS made a presentation, in which it presented its activities and the results of outreach and educational projects in the field of intellectual property. 

In addition to participating in the conference, CYS representatives visited the All-Russian Non-governmental Organization «Russian Authots’ Society» (RAO) to learn about its activities in the field of collective management of property rights of authors and other right holders. During the visit the prospects of further bilateral cooperation, realization of joint projects and exchange of experience in the field of copyright and related rights were also discussed.

Also, the representatives of CYS got acquainted with the main activities of LLC «Skolkovo Intellectual Property Center». In addition to providing legal protection of intellectual property, the center protects personal data, provides services to support commercial transactions, patenting both in Russia and abroad, as well as conducts patent searches and builds patent landscapes.
