Awarding the winners of the contest «School Patent - Step into the Future»

For the second year in a row the regional stage of the International Children's Contest «School Patent - Step into the Future!» is held at the Vitebsk branch of the Republican Library on Science and Technology (RLST).

Chairman of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin visited the Vitebsk branch of the RLST, got acquainted with its information resources and presented awards to the winners of the competition.

To participate in the finals of the XIII season of the competition, that is to be held in St. Petersburg, 21 works in various categories were selected. Eleven works were finalists, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Alexander Subbotin pointed out that the contest winners form the golden intellectual fund of Vitebsk Oblast and the country as a whole. The ideas of talented kids will contribute to breakthrough achievements in different industry sectors. The administration of the region has always supported gifted young people and intends to do so in the future.

«The young generation is the future of Vitebsk Oblast and the country. Thanks to their ideas and approaches new achievements are being made and the future is being built. When our young people succeed at the international level, it means a lot. There is no doubt that we will continue supporting kids in order to turn their talent into a great diamond,» Alexander Subbotin emphasized.
