The works, which were accepted until April 30, 2022 inclusive, were received from all eight states - members of the Eurasian Patent Convention.

The most active participants of the Universiade were young innovators from the Republic of Belarus. They have submitted the most of the works in two age categories - 10-17 years and 18-25 years. A total of 71 projects from Belarus were submitted for the contest.

Second place by the number of works in the "school category" was shared by participants from the Russian Federation (7) and the Kyrgyz Republic (7), and among the "students" - the second place was taken by participants from the Republic of Tajikistan (12). And in the "adult" category there were submitted works from all eight states of the Eurasian Patent Organization, and in the "junior" category - only five.

Themes of the creative works, representing the results of scientific and technical creativity and creative projects, revealing the original solutions in the field of industrial design, were the problems of ecology, health protection and healthy lifestyle, modern technologies in everyday life, as well as new design of usual things.

"Participation in the Eurasian Patent Universiade helps young people who are making their first steps in the field of scientific and technical creativity and industrial design to understand how the intellectual property system works. After submitting their projects to our contest in a worthy manner, in the future these young creators will be able to competently protect their inventions with Eurasian patents. They will not only be able to change the world, but also to receive a decent reward for their work, which will encourage them to further discoveries and achievements for the benefit of all mankind", - stressed the importance of the Eurasian Patent Universiade President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) Grigory Ivliev.

The results of the competition will be published until May 31, 2022. Winners and runners-up of the Universiade will be awarded by the EAPO medal "Look into the Future" and valuable prizes.
