Belarusian Patent Attorneys Institute 30th anniversary

On February 9, 1993, the State Patent Office of the Republic of Belarus at the Council of Ministers registered the first patent attorneys, which included 25 most qualified specialists.

Currently, 75 patent attorneys are registered in the State Register of Patent Attorneys of the Republic of Belarus.

Formation of the Institute of Patent Attorneys is an important step in the development and strengthening of the intellectual property system of the sovereign Belarus, which has just started to develop.

Nowadays patent attorneys in close and fruitful cooperation with the National Center of Intellectual Property, local patent offices are implementing in practice provisions of legislative acts in the field of Intellectual Property, essentially and consistently defend the interests of the applicants and other right holders, including the function of their legal representatives in Courts.
