NCIP took part in the 1st National Forum of young scientists among higher education institutions

The 1st National Forum of young scientists among higher education institutions took place at the P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University on May 25 – 27, 2022, with participation of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets, representatives of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research.

Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP), addressed the forum participants with his welcoming speech. In his speech, he noted that the key role in creation of intangible assets is played by research activities, in which scientific approaches to improve the activities of enterprises of innovative, industrial and scientific sectors are developed, and the objects of intellectual property are created.

On behalf of the recently established NCIP’s Council of Young Scientists the Forum was attended by Elzbieta Skrzydlewska, head of the scientific and educational division of the department of scientific, educational and publishing activities, Leila Zmitrovich, leading specialist of the international cooperation division, and Maria Shmatava, leading specialist of the industrial property law and treaties division of the legal and human resources department.
