VOIR and NCIP signed agreement on cooperation

On June 30, 2022 a cooperation agreement was signed between the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) and the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR). The event took place in Grodno in the framework of the IX Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. The agreement was signed by NCIP Director General Uladzimir Rabavolau and VOIR Director General Anton Ishchenko.

The subject of the agreement is the establishment and development of long term partnerships in order to create conditions for legal protection and effective implementation of intellectual activity results in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

The main areas of cooperation between NCIP and VOIR are: raising awareness of those engaged in creation and commercialization of intellectual property (IP), preparing proposals on improvement of the legal framework on the issues of legal protection and use of IP, organization of training and professional development in the IP field, development of scientific methods, conducting in-depth research based on intellectual analysis of patent data, providing information support on the legal protection and use of R&D results, organizing joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars, exhibitions and other events on the legal protection of R&D, etc.
