On June 12, 2026, the World Intellectual Property Organization Summer School (WIPO Summer School) finished at the National Library of Belarus.
The World Intellectual Property Organization in cooperation with the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the National Center of Intellectual Property and the National Library of Belarus.
Aliaksey Kurman, Director General of NCIP, spoke at the closing ceremony of the Summer School. At the final plenary session, the audience was presented with presentations of group reports.
The program of the WIPO Summer School included seven sections on 36 topics, which discussed new trends in the field of intellectual property, artificial intelligence, protection, implementation and commercialization of intellectual property results, as well as topical issues of industrial property protection, the relationship of intellectual property with public health, climate change, etc.
As part of the training, the students attended workshops on drafting applications for registration of various intellectual property objects, and took part in training trips and field trips.
