President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) Grigory Ivliev participated in the opening of the World Forum on Intellectual Property (IP) in Bangalore, held during February 20 - 23, 2023, with over 700 participants from 21 countries (Forum).

The event program includes many topical issues and trends in the field of IP: the development of patent practice in selected technology industries, digital IP transformation, commercialization, development of IP strategy at the enterprise level, the impact of artificial intelligence, etc.

During the forum, G. Ivliev met with the head of the Indian Agency for IP Unnath P. Pandit - General Controller of Patents, Industrial Designs and Trademarks of the Department of Industrial Development and Domestic Trade Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of the Republic of India.

During the event G. Ivliev said: "India is a country of unity and diversity. These principles are very close to the Eurasian Patent Office. India is an important and close partner for us; our cooperation has a huge potential for development. We are sure that the breakthrough developments of Indian inventors will be in demand all over the world, including Eurasia. We are ready to ensure their effective protection.
