On the eve of World Intellectual Property Day, the National Centre of Intellectual Property launched the updated ‘Intellectual Property Exchange’ (IP Exchange) portal.
Operating since 2011, the platform has undergone a major upgrade to become an even more effective tool for the commercialisation of innovations.
The portal allows users to submit commercial proposals in the following areas:
As part of the update, the database was completely revised: there are currently 753 up-to-date commercial offers available on the portal. The key new features:
Unified search: a modern filtering system combining all categories of commercial offers has been implemented.
Personal accounts: users can register independently and manage their own posts (commercial offers are published following moderation by the NCIP).
Database integration: each offer is supplemented with a direct link to up-to-date information from patent databases (including EAPO, Rospatent, etc).
Prospective services: a system for direct correspondence between rights holders and interested parties is planned for launch in the near future.
The project’s mission is to facilitate the conclusion of licence agreements, assignment agreements and franchise agreements, whilst ensuring the interests of all market participants are reliably protected.
The portal is currently operating in test mode. The National Centre of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) invites all interested parties to help improve the service. Please send your comments and suggestions regarding the functionality to the following email address: bourse@ncip.by.
All necessary information and contact details are already available on the IP Exchange portal.
