Dear colleagues, dear friends!
I would like to congratulate you on World Intellectual Property Day, which is celebrated annually on 26 April. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, which act as a powerful stimulus for scientific research, the introduction of innovations and the enrichment of cultural heritage.
In today’s world, intellectual property is becoming the cornerstone of global competitiveness and a vital driver of private enterprise and sustainable economic progress. Robust mechanisms for protecting the results of creative labour enable researchers and authors to successfully bring bold ideas to fruition, gain the recognition they deserve, and receive a fair return on their efforts.
The National Centre of Intellectual Property is constantly improving its legal protection mechanisms and carrying out extensive awareness-raising work. Our common goal is to build a robust innovation infrastructure and foster a favourable environment for growth and development, for the benefit of a prosperous Belarus.
I would like to congratulate my colleagues, inventors, innovators, authors and everyone who plays an active role in safeguarding and protecting intellectual property. I wish you inspiration and success, brilliant discoveries and innovative solutions!
Yours faithfully,
Director General of the NCIP
Aliaksey Kurman
