Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a number of agreements and memorandums during the visit of the Belarusian Government delegation headed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to Tashkent.

In particular, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Executive Program of Scientific-Technical and Innovative Cooperation for 2022-2023.

Deputy Chairman of the SCST Sergey Shcherbakov noted that the document is aimed at the development of closer cooperation in science and technology and innovation sphere, including issues of project implementation, technology transfer, organization of the innovative infrastructure entities and their residents, postgraduate (doctoral) training in scientific organizations and scientific and methodological support of internships.

The executive program also provides for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center for Intellectual Property and the Agency for Intellectual Property of Uzbekistan, the framework agreement on cooperation between the Institute of Training of Scientific Personnel of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.
