On March 16, 2023, an agreement between the National Centre of Intellectual Property (NCIP) and Borisov Regional Technopark LLC on establishment of the third level technology and innovation support center (TISC) on the basis of the technopark was signed.

The agreement was signed by Director General of NCIP Uladzimir Rabavolau and Director of LLC "Borisov Regional Technopark" Nikolai Sayevets.

The current system of science and technology parks (technoparks) covers all regions of the Republic of Belarus. The status of a technopark has 17 legal entities located in Minsk, in all regional centers of Belarus, as well as in some regional centers.

According to the legislation, one of the directions of technoparks' activity is the support of small business entities in the field of innovation activity - technopark residents, as well as organizational, methodological, information, consulting and other support of their activities.

In this respect, establishment of the TISCs in the technoparks - innovation infrastructure entities - will make it possible to increase availability of services in the field of legal protection of intellectual activity results for small business entities, to enlarge the list and improve quality of engineering services, marketing researches, services on preparation of business-plans of innovation projects and management of these projects, assistance in carrying out foreign economic activity on promoting innovations in foreign markets.

Currently, 25 TISCs are operating in the Republic of Belarus: the first level - based on the NCIP, the second level - in libraries, higher education institutions and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (20 TISCs have been opened), the third level - based on organizations and enterprises (4 TISCs, including the closed joint stock company "Technology Park Mogilev").

The established TISC will be the fifth of the third level and the second, opened on the basis of technology parks.
