ST.26 WIPO standard transition

In accordance with the decision of the 62nd World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Assemblies, as of July 1, 2022, all amino acid and nucleotide sequence listings appearing in patent applications filed at the national, regional or international level must comply with WIPO Standard ST.26.

In order to facilitate the transition to WIPO Standard ST.26 and to facilitate the preparation of sequence listings by applicants, WIPO has created WIPO Sequence software.

The WIPO Sequence software as well as the relevant information and guides can be found at the WIPO website.
