On May 16-17, 2024, the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) is holding a series of training webinars on the Eurasian patent system for the protection of inventions and industrial designs. Speakers - Chief Examiners and Heads of Departments of the EAPO.

The focus of educational events are:

• the main aspects of patenting inventions and industrial designs in the Eurasian Patent Office, advantages of the Eurasian patent, including IT-technologies;
• how to prepare an invention and industrial design application correctly and avoid mistakes related to the submission of industrial design images;
• the procedure for examining applications for inventions and industrial design;
• the procedure for filing and considering objections to examination decisions and the possibility of administrative revocation of Eurasian patents for inventions and industrial design.

Employees of patent offices from the member states of the Eurasian Patent Convention, Eurasian patent attorneys and other interested parties are invited to participate in the program.
