The International Exhibition for Young Inventors was launched back in 1904. It was first held by the Japanese Institute of Inventions and Innovations in Tokyo. As it was set many years ago, today the purpose of the exhibition is to encourage youth’s creativity and inventive activity around the world. It gives participants a unique opportunity to present their inventions and exchange experience with representatives of different countries. The exhibition is designed to ensure a worthy competition between young participants, help them exchange their knowledge with peers, as well as develop cooperation in the innovation sphere between the participating countries.

Belarus will be represented by two young inventors Maxim Yeremenko and Alexander Cherny. The exhibition will be held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic; multinational jury of IEYI-2021 will choose the best inventions remotely. If the epidemiological situation improves, the award ceremony for the gold medallists of IEYI-2021 and IEYI-2020 competitions will be held in December in Taiwan capital – Taipei.
