The State Scientific Institution «Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» is organising the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference, «Social Knowledge in Contemporary Society: Problems, Patterns and Prospects», on 29–30 October 2026.

Agenda of the event:

• the economy and society in the context of a changing world;
• new technologies, digitalisation and artificial intelligence as drivers of social development;
• strategic priorities for the development of education in modern society;
• the creative potential of young people: trends and prospects for realisation;
• health-promoting behaviour and environmental safety, etc.

The conference will also feature a series of round-table discussions on the following topics:

• the role of women and women»s studies in the development of science and society;
• the socio-cultural potential of civic participation in regional development;
• ensuring socio-political stability in the Republic of Belarus: institutions, mechanisms, and approaches;
• science in the Union State of Russia and Belarus in the context of contemporary geopolitical challenges and threats (within the framework of the activities of the Scientific Council for Science Studies of the MAAN).

To take part in the conference and have your papers included in the proceedings, please submit your application by 31 July 2026.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
