On June 23, 2021, at 11:00-13:00 the National Center of Intellectual Property and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will hold an online seminar “Belarus and the Hague System in Protecting Your Designs Internationally”.

The Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs was adopted at the Diplomatic Conference in Geneva on July 2, 1999.

Those using the Hague System enjoy the benefits of obtaining an industrial design patent in any state party to the Geneva Act by preparing a single international application and sending it to the International Bureau of WIPO (one set of fees in the same currency).

Invited experts will make an overview of the main provisions of the Hague System, its procedures, recent changes and key advantages. The seminar participants will be able to join the discussion and participate in the Q&A session.

Registration is open until June 21, 2021.

Participation is free-of-charge.
