CISPATENT Coordination Council convened a meeting

On April 12, 2021, an ordinary meeting of the Coordination Council on the Regional Patent and Information Product of the CIS countries (CISPATENT project) was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Coordination Council Alexander Gorbunov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of intellectual property offices of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, and the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).

The Belarus IP Office was represented by the Deputy Head of the Automation and Patent Documentation Department Svetlana Volk.

The meeting participants discussed the report on the results of the CISPATENT release in 2020, approved the actual cost and workplan for 2020 and the planned cost for the CISPATENT preparation and release for 2021. New vectors of CISPATENT development and cooperation modalities were agreed on.

The next meeting is scheduled for March-April 2022.
