EAPO President will award the world's best young inventors

The award ceremony will take place at the 8th International Young Inventors Awards (IYIA 2022). The exhibition will be held as part of Indonesia's Inventors Day from October 29-31, 2022.

Indonesia Inventors Day (IID) events are traditionally regarded as one of Southeast Asia's premier events for intellectual property, innovation development and fostering inventive activity in the region.

In 2021, representatives of 22 states in the region participated in IDD events. More than 2000 inventors came to Indonesia, who presented 277 projects in the most relevant technological areas - robotics, artificial intelligence, ecology, medicine, etc. This year, the organizers expect a significant increase in the number of participants and presented projects. International exhibition of young inventors IYIA 2022 is a part of the rich program of the Inventor's Day.

The President of the Eurasian Patent Office will award the best young participants in IYIA 2022 with the EAPO medal "Look into the Future". Projects of young inventors from the member states of the Eurasian Patent Organization will also be presented at IYIA 2022.

During the visit, the EAPO delegation will also hold a meeting with the leaders of the General Directorate of Intellectual Property of Indonesia - one of the largest countries in South-East Asia.
