EAPO’s Patent of the month: Mogilevliftmash safety mechanism

The new solution of engineers of JSC «Mogilevliftmash» became a qualitative achievement in the field of lift systems safety. A special device, the principle of operation of which is protected by Eurasian patent, allows increasing the safety level and comfort level of passenger transportation, increasing the resource of the lift system.

The design of the new safety mechanism provides the possibility to move the hinged rods along the slot in the catcher lever. Each of the pull rods is equipped with a separate shaft with spacer elements, which provides rotation of the shafts and expansion of pull rods in the opposite directions, corresponding to the non-operational positions of the catcher. This eliminates accidental triggering and also allows for instant synchronization of the catches.
