EEC and CIS Executive Committee to cooperate on IP-related projects in 2021

The results of cooperation in 2020 and the Action Plan aimed at the implementation of the Memorandum on the deepening of collaboration between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the CIS Executive Committee of November 27, 2018 in the intellectual property field for 2021 were discussed by the Director of the Business Development Department of EEC Galiya Dzholdybaeva and the Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee Mikhail Myskin at the EEC headquarters.

The EEC and the CIS Executive Committee continue their work on improving the efficiency of the legal system of intellectual property protection and enforcement in the EAEU and CIS countries. In this regard, according to the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached on holding in 2021a round table discussion on topical issues in the intellectual property sphere.

Meeting participants noted a high interest in building cooperation between the two integration associations, particularly within the framework of the jointly organized events.

“2020 showed us how important the mutually beneficial cooperation between our organizations is for revitalizing the economies of our countries after the most complex period of the pandemic,” stated Galiya Dzholdybaeva.
