Intellectual Property Exchange – promotion of intellectual activity results commercialization. Results of the first half of 2020

In order to develop the intellectual property market and intensify commercialization of intellectual activity results, as well as to increase the efficiency of their industrial use, the National Center of Intellectual Property is implementing the project “Intellectual Property Exchange”.

As of July 1, 2020, 658 commercial proposals for industrial property objects were added to the Intellectual Property Exchange, including:

28 offers for commercial use (transfer or grant of rights to use) of patents of the Russian Federation for inventions belonging to organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health;

107 offers for commercial use (transfer or grant of rights to use) of Eurasian patents for inventions;

515 commercial offers for inventions of the Republic of Belarus;

6 commercial offers for utility models of the Republic of Belarus;

2 commercial offers for trademarks of the Republic of Belarus.

In the first half of 2020, the number of commercial offers increased by 275 (28.2%). 25 of these are for commercial use of Eurasian patents for inventions, 250 – for inventions of the Republic of Belarus.
