Inventor in the field of agricultural technology.

Sergei Fedorovich was born on February 27, 1953 in the village of Vorontsevichi, Tolochin district, Vitebsk region. In 1975 he graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Since 1975 he has been working in the Republican Design Unitary Enterprise “HSDB for Grain Harvesting and Forage Harvesting Equipment” of the Gomselmash Production Association. Currently he holds the position of the first Deputy Director of HSDB – Chief Designer for grain harvesting and small-scale equipment.
The area of scientific interests of S. Fedorovich covers agricultural machinery in the field of harvesting root crops. He is the author of 48 patents for inventions and utility models of the Republic of Belarus.

S. Fedorovich was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Badge of Honour of the USSR, the Order of Honour of the Republic of Belarus. He is the laureate of the Council of Ministers Prize in the field of design, three times laureate of the Prize of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus (for the design of a rotary mower, for the creation of adapters to a universal energy device and for the design of a semitrailer forage harvester).
