The representatives of the National Center of Intellectual Property participated in the online case-course “Intellectual Property: Methods of Enforcement and Judicial Practice”, organized on May 19 and 22, 2020 by the Education Center “Professional Interest” (LLC Grevtsov’s Information Legal Agency).

Within the framework of this project, Ms. Victoria Bessarabova, Head of the Training and Consulting Division of the Department of Scientific and Educational Activities, answered numerous questions on conclusion and performance of agreements on the use of exclusive rights and explained the peculiarities of contractual relations concerning the use of intellectual property objects.

Ms. Natalia Novikova, Deputy Head of the Legal and Human Resources Department, covered the issues of “exclusive rights exhaustion” and “parallel importation”. She addressed the concepts of exhaustion of exclusive rights existing in the world practice and those used in the Republic of Belarus. During the speech special attention was paid to the problem of legalizing parallel importation by the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
