On July 21, 2021, the ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center of Intellectual Property (Republic of Belarus) and the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Republic of Kazakhstan) took place.

The document was signed by the heads of the two IP offices – the Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property Uladzimir Rabavolau and Director of the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Ospanov.


The Memorandum of Understanding is aimed at determining the general principles of interaction between the two organizations, including the exchange of experience in various aspects of the intellectual property sphere, patent documentation exchange, training of IP specialists, interaction through the technology and innovation support centers.

The signing of this Memorandum is a key step, facilitating cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the intellectual property sphere.
