More than 650 commercial proposals for industrial property rights are registered on the Intellectual Property Exchange. The official website of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) provides an opportunity for everyone interested to learn more about commercial proposals of copyright holders for their industrial property rights and possible further licensing, assignment and other forms of commercialization.

It should be noted that in the first quarter of this year, NCIP received 1,266 applications for industrial property objects, including 106 for inventions, 16 for Eurasian patent, 3 for international applications, 86 for utility models, 70 for industrial designs, 10 for plant varieties, 47 for computer programs, 927 for trademarks and service marks, 1 for geographical indications.

In 2020, NCIP will continue its work on accession of Belarus to the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled and the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs. In addition, NCIP will prepare a draft Strategy of the Republic of Belarus in the Field of Intellectual Property for 2021-2030.
