On December 8, 2020, a meeting of the working group on the creation of a Eurasian system of industrial designs legal protection was held via videoconference.

The meeting of the working group was attended by representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Eurasian Patent Office.

The Republic of Belarus was represented by experts of the National Center of Intellectual Property – Head of the Industrial Property Examination Department Elena Usacheva, Head of the Legal and Human Resources Department Tatsiana Kavaleuskaya, Leading Specialist of the Legal and Human Resources Department Elzhbeta Skshidleuska.

Following the meeting of the working group, the EAPC member states at the expert level agreed on the drafts of Part II "Industrial Designs" of the Patent Regulations to the EAPC and the Regulation on Fees of the Eurasian Patent Organization for legally significant and other actions taken in relation to applications for the grant of Eurasian industrial design patents and the industrial design patents themselves.
