The Draft Edict provides for addition of Intellectual Property Day to the list of holiday dates stipulated by subparagraph 2.2.4 of paragraph 2 of the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus on March 26, 1998 No 157 “On State Holidays, Public Holidays and Memorable Dates in the Republic of Belarus"

Draft Laws of the Republic of Belarus:

"On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Patents for Inventions, Utility Models and Industrial Designs"

is developing in order to bring provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus on December 16, 2002 "On Patents for Inventions, Utility Models, Industrial Designs" in accordance with legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus, as well as taking into account law enforcement practices

Projects Regulations of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus:

"On Amendments and Additions to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on December 22, 2009 No 1679"

is developing in order to bring provisions in accordance with legislation on the procedure of filing complaints, objections, applications for consideration at the Board of Appeals of the Patent Office, approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on December 22, 2009 No 1679, and in order to eliminate duplicative and outdated standards, as well as taking into account law enforcement practices

"On Amendments to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on April 30, 2010 No 661"

is developing in order to improve Provisions on the procedure of drafting application for registration and the right to use appellations of origin, approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on April 30, 2010 No 661, as well as taking into account law enforcement practices

"On Amendments and Additions to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on December 28, 2009 No 1719"

is developing in order to bring the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on December 28, 2009 No 1719 "On Approval of Provisions on Procedure for Registration of Trademarks and Service Marks, and on Amendments to Some Regulations of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus" in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus on January 5, 2016 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Issues of Legal Protection of Trademarks and Service Marks", and in accordance with the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks, signed on March 27, 2006 in Singapore, as well as taking into account law enforcement practices

Draft Resolutions of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus:

"On Establishment of Forms of Documents Related to Legal Protection of Trademarks and Service Marks"

is developing in order to bring forms, approved by the Resolution of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus on January 12, 2010 No 1 "On Approval of Forms" in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus on January 5, 2016 "On Amendments and Additions to Some Laws of the Republic Belarus on Issues of Legal Protection of Trademarks and Service Marks", as well as taking into account law enforcement practices
