The first week of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Summer School took place from 1 to 5 June 2026).
The training is organised by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in collaboration with the National Centre of Intellectual Property (the NCIP), the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, and the National Library of Belarus.

Particular attention was paid to practical issues such as developing a model for an intellectual property data portal, conducting research and development in innovation, and the legal protection of trade secrets.

The sessions were led by leading experts from WIPO, the National Centre of Intellectual Property, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, the Eurasian Patent Organisation, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the State Inspectorate for the Testing and Protection of Plant Varieties of the Republic of Belarus, the Institute of Systems Research in Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belarusian State University, the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, and the Digital IP Research and Education Centre of Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy.
The WIPO Summer School offers a unique opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge in the field of intellectual property from leading experts and practitioners, as well as to develop the skills required to work effectively in the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property.
