National Center of Intellectual Property
Consultation Points
In the Republic of Belarus there are currently a consulting point at the National Center of Intellectual Property (hereinafter – NCIP) and six regional consulting points at the regional branches of the Republican Library for Science and Technology and the Belarusian Society of Inventors and Innovators.
Free verbal consultations on general and reference issues that don’t require system analysis of legal norms application are provided at consulting points.
Consultations are provided for the following issues
General issues:
- legal protection for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and service marks, appellations of origin, topographies of integrated circuits, plant varieties, structure of documents and requirements to their drafting;
- calculation procedure and payment terms of patent fees;
- procedure and terms of examination of applications.
Reference issues:
- bank details for payment of patent fees;
- where you can study the intellectual property legislation;
- where you can review the intellectual property objects, recommendations and clarifications in the field of industrial property, suggested list of legal and literary sources to be of assistance to patent search specialists;
- where you can review forms relating to industrial property;
- where you can study the list of patent attorneys of the Republic of Belarus;
- the State Patent Fund that is the Republican Library for Science and Technology;
- the list of paid services provided by NCIP.
